Be a Conduit of God’s Flowing Grace

In the gospel of John, Jesus says, “To the one who believes in Me, ‘Streams of living water will flow from within him.’” (John 7:38)

If we could picture the condition of souls as they really are (starving, dehydrated, desolate) we might be able to be bolder at letting the streams of living water flow from our hearts. Why do we keep the floodgates closed? Do we need more faith in Jesus´ promise? Do we need more boldness to open our lips? Giving away the gospel is sharing the greatest blessing ever received.

D. T. Niles, a Ceylonese pastor, evangelist and president of the Ceylon Methodist Conference, once said “Christianity is one beggar telling another beggar where he found bread.”

Our hearts are restless until they find God. If we have had that personal encounter with Jesus Christ and have savoured the quenching of our deepest thirst, how can we not share it with others?

Ask yourself today: How can I be a conduit of God’s flowing grace?
