Request for additional volunteer helpers:
We are presently looking for volunteers who have experience and/or skill in any of the following areas:
- Transcribers who can convert audio recordings of community/outreach talks, reflections, insights and reports on conferences, events, into readable text.
- Graphic designers/illustrators for future Living Bulwark articles, topics, etc.
- Copy editors who can check for correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, and add sub-header paragraph titles for lengthy articles, etc.
- Contributing editors and writers from Sword of the Spirit communities and related outreaches: We are also looking for contributing editors from member communities and related outreaches of the Sword of the Spirit, who can periodically ask individuals and local communities/outreaches in their respective region for available reflections, testimonies, local newsletter articles, and community/outreach talks on topics related to life in community, discipleship, evangelism, mission, God’s Word in Scripture, spiritual growth, gifts and work of the Holy Spirit, etc.

Statement of Purpose
Our Statement of Purpose expresses our aim to serve in fostering renewal of Christian life and mission among God’s people:
Living Bulwark is committed to fostering renewal of the whole Christian people: Catholic, Protestant, and Orthodox. We especially want to give witness to the charismatic, ecumenical, evangelistic, and community dimensions of that renewal. Living Bulwark seeks to equip Christians to grow in holiness, to apply Christian teaching to their lives, and to respond with faith and generosity to the working of the Holy Spirit in our day.
The name Living Bulwark reflects our prophetic call as an international and ecumenical “community of disciples on mission” – comprising some 90 plus covenant communities and outreaches worldwide. We are called to live, work, and strive, by the power of the Holy Spirit, so that others may have true life in Christ, now and forever.
